Role Overview
As a Human Resources Intern, you will support a variety of HR activities ranging from recruitment and onboarding to documentation and team engagement. This role offers a broad introduction to HR in a multicultural NGO setting, providing practical experience while contributing to meaningful environmental and social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and publish job postings on relevant platforms to attract suitable candidates
- Review resumes carefully and prepare shortlists for the hiring team
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring smooth communication between candidates and interviewers
- Maintain regular communication with applicants and current interns to provide updates and support
- Prepare, issue, and track contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Create and refine HR templates to standardize processes and improve efficiency
- Keep contracts and HR documentation securely stored and well organized
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all HR files are up to date and accessible
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in HR, NGO operations, or organizational psychology
- Organized, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic environment
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
Time Commitment
- Up to 15 hours per week, flexible scheduling
- Minimum 4-month commitment preferred (with possibility to extend)
- Weekly meetings
