Role Overview

As a Human Resources Intern, you will support a variety of HR activities ranging from recruitment and onboarding to documentation and team engagement. This role offers a broad introduction to HR in a multicultural NGO setting, providing practical experience while contributing to meaningful environmental and social impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and publish job postings on relevant platforms to attract suitable candidates
  • Review resumes carefully and prepare shortlists for the hiring team
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring smooth communication between candidates and interviewers
  • Maintain regular communication with applicants and current interns to provide updates and support
  • Prepare, issue, and track contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Create and refine HR templates to standardize processes and improve efficiency
  • Keep contracts and HR documentation securely stored and well organized
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all HR files are up to date and accessible

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in HR, NGO operations, or organizational psychology
  • Organized, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently

Time Commitment

  • Up to 15 hours per week, flexible scheduling
  • Minimum 4-month commitment preferred (with possibility to extend)
  • Weekly meetings
